The standard photo (on the left) shows what your skin looks like on the surface. The UV photo (on the right) goes a little deeper and shows the unseen damage that the sun has been inflicting on your skin. One of the signs of sun damage is a clumping of melanin, which appears in the UV photo as dark speckling. Fortunately, you don't have to take sun damage lying down.
