This photograph shows a huge, fairly well demarcated, lesion with an infiltrating border which is more inflammatory in character than opalescent. The large ulcer in the center suggests considerable infiltration into the deeper structures. This proved to be a squamous cell carcinoma requiring an aggressive surgical approach.
