Notice the sharp cutoff at the wrist of these plaque-like lesions of psoriasis. Palmar psoriasis of this type with cracking, fissuring, pain and disability can be a difficult problem to manage. Psoriasis often presents itself with large, red, dry, scaling plaques over the elbows, knees, and scalp. Itching may also be a problem, but is normally not severe.
