This is a classic presentation of a nodular basal cell carcinoma with a depressed center from a previous ulceration. The telangiectatic vessels coursing around the surface are noted. The margins on this lesion are well defined. Basal cell tumors are the most common type of skin cancer. They typically occur on light exposed areas of the body, but can be found anywhere.
